Hi Eddie, I think you could add to your list the power of humour. One of the reasons Joe Rogan is so successful is that he brings so many comedians onto his show. Through comedy we can wake people up. This is why I'm going to see Katie Hopkins, she cracks me up. When comedians can no longer make fun of the world then we will know we have lost. That's the story from Cabaret. It starts off all light and airy full of jovially but by the final scene no one is making any more jokes. Best regards. Phil
Read history, currently reading the Goolag Archipelago.
When discussing the problem with others I ask simple questions such as, when was the last time you heard a politician say that the government had made a mistake?
Like you I use as much cash as possible and avoid card payments.
I also listen to sensible podcasts Dennis and Julie is one example and my favourite Jordan Peterson. This means I do carry my mobile phone with me while I walk to work. Here’s a simple question “How many people who are part of the government ‘ride to work’ subsidised cycle scheme actually ride to work? Nobody I know.
You are indeed correct - History has many insights and wisdoms we have forgotten.
People often want to believe/feel they are the toffs/elites so think nothing of disrupting the lives of the little people to force them to cycle to work

I would recommend Machiavelli too even though the forward is a bit of a crawl to a member of the local elite.
That is indeed an excellent idea! Thanks
I love your reference to the wisdom in the bible too.
Here’s my plan of small steps:
